The parts people actually touch.
Who this is for
Organisations establishing or correcting an identity, and clients whose system will be judged by the people using it rather than the people who bought it.
The problem
Identity and interface are usually treated as decoration applied at the end. They are the only parts of a system most people ever experience. A government e-service is judged on whether a citizen can complete it; an ERP is adopted or resisted on whether staff can navigate it.
What we do
- Brand strategy and positioning
- Visual identity systems: mark, palette with print values, typography, usage rules
- Institutional and employer presence: strategies reflecting an organisation's values and mission
- Bilingual Arabic and English identity treatment
- Company profiles, presentations and collateral
- UI/UX design, user flows and interactive prototyping
- Websites and digital presence
The platform behind it
Delivered by the UI/UX team. On software engagements, design runs inside the build rather than as a separate contract.
How an engagement runs
Identity work runs three to six weeks to a delivered system with usage rules. Interface design runs inside the project's design phase, before production code.
What you get
A complete system rather than a logo file: marks in vector, a palette specified in HEX, RGB and CMYK, a typeface with weight assignments, usage rules covering clear space, minimum sizes and backgrounds, and bilingual lockups.
Brand & Design builds the identity and how an organisation presents itself. Deciding who to reach, with what message, through which channels, and running it, sits in Marketing & Communications.
